Welcome to Vortex Physical Therapy & Balance

BETTER BALANCE STARTS HERE.

Vortex Physical Therapy & Balance provides physical therapy for vestibular and neurological disorders, as well as balance issues.

Our clinic was founded in 2011 by Diron Cassidy, PT, MPT as the first physical therapy office in the Bay Area dedicated to the rehabilitation of vestibular disorders and balance problems. Our vestibular physical therapists work one-on-one with clients to reduce dizziness and improve their balance. Do You Need a Doctor's Referral?

California offers Direct Access to physical therapy, meaning you may not need a doctor’s referral to start treatment. Faster treatment is a key benefit of Direct Access, but there are some limitations to the law that you should know. Read more >>

CURRENT COVID-19 POLICY:

At Vortex, we continue to require the use of face masks in our office. We follow the guidelines from the California Dept for Public Health, which continues to require masking in higher-risk settings such as medical facilities.

We continue to work hard to keep our clinic a safe space for our patients and staff. Regardless of your own personal beliefs on masking, if you are visiting us, we expect you to come prepared with a face mask and put it on before entering our office.

If you are someone who has health issues and you’re concerned about coming into the clinic, telehealth visits may be an option for you. For details, click here or contact our office.
